Reflecting on
the notes made in the second crit were generally positive so I intend on
continuing the work I am currently making. Although I am considering picking up
the pace to gain a larger body of work and experimentation to make stronger
final outcomes.
The part I have
been struggling the most is the BICeBe Poster Call brief which involves making
a GIF based on women’s empowerment. So far, I have considered my research and
development quite weak. However, a peer commented that the concept of my
current development is interesting and to keep going. This has definitely made
me reconsider my thoughts on the work and I plan on continuing the development
to see where it takes me.
The feedback on
my American Psycho and pumpkin guy were completely positive. Although, it has
been suggested that I give them a home. Should I look at more fictional horror
characters? Should I make up my own? (Suppose this is kind of the pumpkin guy).

Upon reflection
I need to focus on the direction of my work and where I feel most
comfortable/motivated. I plan on focusing mostly on the American Psycho/ horror
brief that I have made myself and look at other briefs on the side such as
editorial briefs (which only take a day) and the women’s empowerment GIF which I
need to look more closely into.
