Shape Artist

Elliot Kruszynski

I have chosen the illustrator Elliot Kruszunki because of how he limits his use of shape down to a minimum even when making full bleed images such as the one above.
He is successful in the way that he makes such simple shapes and forms into characters or objects. He does this through means of print as well as using vectors.
These two characters in particular interest me the most as they are simple a curved path with two circles to create their heads.

Kruszynski also collaborated with Sandow's cold brew coffee to make promotional material for a new blend. He created stickers as part of the promotion such as the example above.
This relates to my current Brief, 'Act of Kindness' because of the circular shape and the use of basic shapes to create an object or character through vectors.
